empty handwashlacking cleanliness
the bathroom situation wasn't ideal, i must say. discovered the handwash dispenser was empty upon arrival, a slight inconvenience. alerted reception, yet no one addressed it, so the barman, bless him, eventually filled it. found some spots throughout the hotel not exactly gleaming, suggesting the housekeeping standards could use a boost. it felt a bit careless.

Wonderful Stay in a Great Location

The staff were amazing. I appreciated the very good restaurant, and my room, a duplex apartment, had a lovely industrial feel. High-end finishes were evident throughout, particularly in the amazing shower area. The experience, my room was good enough (especially with the great air conditioning!). The hotel had parking in the basement and this was useful, though there was a separate charge. I found the location right next to the river very convenient, it was a short walk to the town center. The railway station was also less than ten minutes away. I took a train to London one day.
The room was very warm when I arrived (it was 26 degrees!), but the staff quickly resolved the issue.

The staff were super helpful and always greeted me with a smile, making me feel very welcome. They always responded to my requests quickly (for example, the warm room), solving any issue in a timely manner.

the breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. my room included a wonderfully comfortable bed. i found the location ideal for accessing the town center.
My room was very hot when i arrived at 26 degrees. the plugs by the bed were for low amp internal use only. I could not plug in my phone.
